Dr. Florine Bell Presents on Rosenwald Schools

As part of our ongoing efforts to preserve and celebrate local history, Weldon in Action welcomed Rev. Dr. Florine Bell for a special presentation on the history and legacy of Rosenwald Schools in the South. Dr. Bell shared insights into the transformative role these schools played in expanding educational opportunities for African American students and highlighted their lasting impact on communities throughout the region. The presentation supported ongoing conversations surrounding the Ralph J. Bunche School Historical Park and the preservation of African American educational history.
