Rev. Francis Kyle

Rev. Francis Kyle was the driving force behind what is now known as The Irvin Francis Kyle III Speaker Series. With a deep passion for local history, he believed that understanding the past strengthens a community’s identity. After arriving in Weldon as pastor of Weldon Baptist Church, he recognized the town’s rich story and took the lead in creating the Weldon Heritage Speaker Series through Weldon In Action—personally planning and guiding programs that brought history to life for the community. He will forever be missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
