Weldon In Action invites community members to our first meeting of 2026 on Thursday, February 12, for an evening focused on civic engagement, open dialogue, and community connection. The meeting will feature town updates from Weldon Town Administrator Montré Freeman, along with an opportunity for residents to share ideas, ask questions, and engage directly with local leadership.

Members of the Town Council and Town Clerk Quazavion Johnson have also been invited to attend. With town leadership heading into a planning conference the following week, this meeting offers a timely opportunity to help shape priorities for Weldon’s future.

The meeting will be held at Halifax Community College, Room 825, Building 800, from 5:30–7:00 PM. A full agenda will be shared ahead of the meeting.
